In this role, you will have personnel responsibility for 30 employees, with positions such as laundry assistant, washing machine operator, and machine and textile manager.

The unit's mission is to provide clean textiles to Region Kalmar County's operations, ranging from staff and patient clothing to towels and sheets. You have personnel, financial, and operational responsibility and are therefore responsible for leadership, planning, follow-up, and improvement. You are part of the management group for the logistics base unit and report to the base unit manager.

About you

You have a relevant university education for the assignment and/or several years of experience in a managerial position, or alternatively other education and/or experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience from production operations is an asset.

Since travel across the county is part of your work, you must hold a B driver's license.

The main task of our base unit is to efficiently provide aids, consumables, medical supplies, and textiles for Region Kalmar County's various operations. The breadth of our assignment gives you the opportunity to work with exciting content, people, and projects. In the logistics base unit, we have 120 employees, 30 of whom belong to the Laundry. We are part of Regionservice, which consists of 500 employees with specialized competence in several different professional areas. Together, we are responsible for, perform, and develop service services for Region Kalmar County's operations.
